As part of this half terms literacy work, the children in Y2 have been learning all about the author Anthony Browne. We focused on his book “Gorilla” which is all about a little girl who longs to visit the zoo to see her favourite animal. The children then worked on creating their own versions of the story using their own characters. Finally, they rehearsed and recorded their audio work and made their own animated cartoons in our new school media suite.
